About the Wildwood Soup Kitchen
- The only soup kitchen in Sumter County. It is NOT a food pantry.
- Serves hot lunches in-house 3 days a week to 300-350 people per day.
- Deliveries of prepared meals 5 days a week to the needy, home-bound, and homeless.
- Serves over 140,000 meals a year at an ever-increasing cost.
- Totally relies on food and monetary donations from the community.
- 100% volunteer organization. A 501c3 charity for tax-deducible donations.
