Every morning from 9AM-1PM, answer the telephone and welcome guests at the door. When someone comes or calls the soup kitchen we need a welcoming person to receive donations and answer questions. Can you do this?
One person, each day. Call Barb at 352-299-6494 with what day you can be there every week. 6 days, 6 volunteers.
One morning or afternoon a week, working to provide about 200 meals for home delivery. The meals are going to the home bound and homeless. This is a new team, new hours and day to be determined. For more information contact: Barb at (352) 299-6494
Available Monday & Wednesdays from approximate hours 6:30 - 11:30AM
Available as needs arise during the week.
Back up the Kitchen Manager as needed.

- Computer skills
- Review kitchen inventory
- Create weekly order lists
- Support volunteers who are helping with the supplies as they arrive at the soup kitchen

Person or persons to help fill vacant positions from our extensive database of volunteers. We are considering different coordinators for various responsibilities. Such as Fruit Cutters, Donation Deliveries, Home Delivery preparations for the drivers, sandwich makers. All maybe different coordinators. Please help us make a team of coordinators!

Afternoon Kitchen Orientation 2-4PM every Thursday
Please make sure to fill out the Volunteer application on this website.
Come in any Thursday to learn about the soup kitchen and jobs available.
If interested, stop by. No need to apply, wear closed shoes and hair back.
We are looking for a person or persons that can implement applications for grants.
Experience in this field is essential.

Driver/Delivery to home bound and homeless
Pickup and deliver food to those in need.
- Driver to the southern part of Sumter County on Thursdays (time required 8-10AM)
- Driver to Coleman/Bushnell (Tuesday/Thursday)
These positions may be to sub or work as a team to ensure the food gets delivered.

- Drivers to home bound in other areas in and around Wildwood. Time required (8-10AM) 1 or 2 days a week.
